Staying positive in today’s world is like having a sunny day in London. Yes, it’s possible sometimes but not every single time.
I have come across so many people who aren’t positive at al, like AT ALL. This literally drives me crazy because there isn’t any harm in staying and thinking positively, am I right? Yes I am, if you didn’t think so then you need to continue reading the post (and even if you thought I was right)
So today, I am going to acquaint you with some points which would (hopefully) aid you in being positive for the rest of your lives..and no I am not exaggerating.
1. Train your mind to see the good in everything
No matter what you are going through always find the optimistic perspective in your given situation. If you make a mistake, don’t be dragged down by the negative aspects of it just be grateful that you learnt something by doing that. You could ask yourself this question in this moment:
- What is the one thing that is positive or good about this situation?
Sometimes if your situation is worse, this won’t be of any help because you wouldn’t be in a good state of mind. But give it time and in the end, everything will be okay.
2.Surround yourself with positivity
The kind of environment you are in has a huge impact in the level of positivity in you. If all the people around you, are only capable of having a pessimistic outlook on life then you need to take a step back, only one. You can’t change the way people think right? You can show them.
Therefore wherever you are; in your school, college, dorm, workplace or home, you can paste optimistic quotes on any naked wall. Or, place beautiful flowers wherever possible. Voilà, you have done your job.
3. Jot it down
At the end of everyday, write down all the good things that happened with you or you made it happen for someone.
Not only will this help you stay in your happy place but also give you hope for all the spiffing things yet to happen to you in the future.
That’s it. These are the 3 points which, if you follow will work amazingly. At the end of the day, it’s you who can bring changes to your life so why not get up and do something about it?
