Travel. As much as you can. As far as you can. As long as you can. Life’s not meant to be lived in one place.
From my stance, travelling helps you see life in an unconventional way. As you travel you see and experience new places which augment your knowledge and widen your perspective. It changes a person as a whole, it questions their way of living. Discovering different values and ways to get by in life is really interesting.
Travelling gives you a break from your normal lethal routine and lets you escape all your problems or issues for a few weeks. It also gives you some time to think and make some life changing decisions. Everyone has crazy schedules and frustrating work or school commitments therefore just going away from all this can help you understand the prominence of all these things in your life. Moreover, after a small satisfying vacation, either alone or with your family or friends, you can work with a fresh and healthy mind. This would help you progress in the significant aspects of your life without frustrating over it. Frankly, it’s a very good stress remover that has a lot more to give than people are willing to accept.
New experiences increase your ingenuity as you are exposed to situations which you would never encounter sitting at home. From my own experience, I’ve seen people who travel a lot in life were ready to embrace change and have a natural ability of overcoming problems with a smile.
Wouldn’t it be amazing to make memories all around the world rather than making the same ones at the same spots? You can always make money but you can’t always make memories. These memories will create a bond that nothing can erase and these will be one of the many things you will cherish forever. The tans will fade but the memories will last forever.
I would say, be a traveller not a tourist. Try new things, meet new people and look beyond what’s right in front of you. These are the key things in understanding this amazing world we live in.
My biggest dream in life is to wake up one fine morning, get on a plane to some random place and to just get lost in the adventure awaiting me there. After all, to travel is to live…
